Supernatural

Habermas again notes, “the crux of the issue, then, is not whether there were real experiences, but how we explain the nature of these early experiences.”[3]
Habermas then proceeds to inquire into what these exegetes consider to be the cause of the apostolic Church’s early and widespread belief that Jesus rose from the dead. Was it anatural cause or a supernatural cause? Surprisingly, the vast majority of exegetes believe that the cause was supernatural.
